Wandering Goat Coffee Company is located at 268 Madison Street in the Whiteaker neighborhood in the heart of Eugene, Oregon.  Our cafe hours are Mon-Wed 7am – 11 pm, Thurs-Fri 7am-12am, Sat 8am-12am & Sun 8am-10pm.  We are a small locally owned and community operated business dedicated to bringing fresh perspectives to the craft of traditional artisan roasting and coffee and espresso preparation. We’re committed to seeking out the best coffees from all over the world which are also produced in a sustainable way, both for the earth and the farmers who produce it. We roast each pound to order, as roasting only in small batches allows us to guarantee the freshness and excellence of each pound of coffee we offer.

Our baristas are extensively trained and passionate about the quality of each cup of coffee they prepare and serve each day. Our cafe is located adjacent to our roasting facility so you can watch your coffee being roasted as you enjoy your morning, afternoon, or evening cup. Wandering Goat Cafe is also a bakery, community, art, music and performance venue. All of our baked goods are vegan, made with organic ingredients, and baked fresh each day. We also offer a wide variety of herbal, green, black and mate teas, homemade chai, organic soups, wine, locally brewed beers on tap and over 30 organic bottled beers. Wandering Goat is host to a number of ongoing community events such as Centrifugal Cinema featuring independent films, Heckler’s Night, a chance for you to use your outside voice inside, and the already famous, soon to be annual, Mr. Whiteaker Competition.

We are constantly working to achieve the highest quality, best tasting coffees available while maintaining our commitment to responsible business practices. That is why we are dedicated to using the most sustainable products and ingredients available in both our cafe and wholesale business. We are equally committed to offering exclusively sustainably-grown specialty coffees. Our roaster is one of the most energy efficient in the world and is operated using 100% wind generated electricity. Our beans are carefully selected from the best coffees around the world which are also produced with the least environmental impact, greatest benefit for farmers and ultimately result in the best possible coffees we can offer.

Choosing to buy sustainably-grown coffees helps to insure that:

• Every bean that reaches your cup is grown using the safest and most ecologically beneficial farming methods practiced today.
• The health risks posed to those who grow and process your coffees and the damaging effects on the environment are lessened by reducing the use of chemical pesticides and fertilizer and preserving the forests in coffee growing regions.
• The farmers who grow and process your coffees are receiving a fair price for their beans and labor; and the organizational structure of the producing coffee farm or cooperative is one of high integrity.
• The demand for sustainable coffees increases, which helps to move such programs from the realm of ’specialty’ coffee to one of industry standard.
• The coffee growing forests which lie along migratory routes are left undisturbed, preventing deforestation and providing shelter for migrating birds.
