Peru is an up-and-coming origin in the Americas/Caribbean growing region. The most sought after Peruvian coffees have medium body, bright acidity, and a full finish. Our Decaf Peru ‘Penachi’ is one of the best.

Our coffee is grown in northwestern Peru on the border with Ecuador, in the Penachi region. This region is isolated and most people here live by growing coffee or harvesting fruit and herbs. Many of the villages in this area have no electricity, telephones or paved roads. But the Inca Indian people who live in the Penachi region have been working diligently to develop organic growing practices that are helping to provide a better life for their communities.
